Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create an Aurevin account or use the app. By doing so, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Aurevin.

Public beta

Aurevin is still in development. It may change, have bugs, or be unavailable at times, and we can't promise uptime. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to your business.

Who can use Aurevin

Aurevin is a tool for running a bar or other drinks business. You must be at least 18 and old enough to buy alcohol where you live. If you use it for a business, you confirm that you can agree to these terms for that business. We do not sell alcohol.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. Give us a real email address, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account.

Acceptable use

Use Aurevin to manage your bar: inventory, recipes, suppliers and orders. Don't try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, scrape or copy it in bulk, or use it for anything illegal.

Your content

You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Aurevin for you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for what you enter. Only add text, images and links you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful. Images are shown from the web address you give us, so the owner of that image, not us, controls it. If you add personal details of other people, such as suppliers or staff, you must have a lawful reason to do so. For that data you decide why and how it is used, and we process it on your behalf only to run Aurevin, as our Data Processing Terms and Privacy Policy describe. If you think content in an account is unlawful, tell us at aurevin@proton.me and we will look into it promptly.

Getting your data out

You can download your data (JSON or CSV) in Settings at any time, including after a subscription ends, until your account is deleted.

Information only

Costs, stock levels, "ready to make" results and recipe details are only as accurate as what you enter, and are not professional advice. You are responsible for serving alcohol responsibly and lawfully, for allergen and food-safety information, and for any licences your business needs.

Our work

Aurevin, including its name, logo, mascot, design, text, images and code, belongs to [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY] and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the app, but you may not copy, reproduce, resell, or build a competing product from its design, content or code, and you may not use our name, logo or mascot without written permission.

Subscriptions

Details of billing, refunds and cancelling are on our Billing, refunds and cancellation page; it applies from the day paid plans start.

Some features may need a paid plan. When paid plans start, the price, billing period and plan details are shown before you subscribe.

Renewal: paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.

Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in your account. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Refunds: Aurevin is free during the beta, so there is nothing to refund. Before any paid plan starts, its refund and cancellation terms will be shown on this page and at checkout.

Failed payments: if a payment fails, we will email you so you can update your card. If it still fails, your plan may end.

When a subscription ends: your account is locked and your data stays in it until you delete your account. You can resubscribe to pick up where you left off, or delete your account in Settings, which deletes your data straight away.

How we look after the service and your data

We provide Aurevin with reasonable care and skill and take reasonable steps to keep your data safe. We cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors, and during the public beta data may occasionally be lost. Keep your own copy of anything that matters: you can download your data in Settings at any time.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and the rights you have as a consumer, for example that a digital service must be supplied with reasonable care and skill and match its description.

If you use Aurevin for your business: we are not liable for lost profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for everything connected with Aurevin in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of what you paid us in that period and EUR 100.

If you use Aurevin as a consumer (not for a business), the limits in the paragraph above apply only as far as the law allows, and we are responsible for loss that was a foreseeable result of our failing to meet these terms.

Ending your account

You can stop using Aurevin and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you by email about significant changes. Continuing to use Aurevin after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing here limits any rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
